LVDS to HDMI

  • Hello,

I am trying to add an HDMI port to an embedded device with a 12" 1280x800 LCD panel. It uses a 20 pin LVDS connection. I can connect it to other screens and it works. However, I cannot get it to work with the LVDS to HDMI boards. I've tried v20 and LVDS2. I tried all combination of jumbers including LVDS2 in 6-bit mode.

Has anyone else gotten to work with a 6bit output? Any other suggestions?

  • It appears that you're having trouble getting your LVDS to HDMI boards to work with a 6-bit output. From the search results, it seems these boards are designed to work with a variety of configurations, but there could be several reasons why you're experiencing issues.

One possibility is that the board may not be correctly configured for a 6-bit output. The Geekworm LVDS to HDMI Adapter Board, for instance, supports both 8-bit and 6-bit modes, but you need to ensure it's set to the correct mode.

Another potential issue could be related to using unique compare and contrast essay ideas. Not all panels will necessarily be compatible with all LVDS to HDMI boards. It may be beneficial to check if your particular panel model is known to work with the boards you're trying.

Lastly, it's always worth checking if your cables, connectors, and power supply are all in good working order. A faulty cable or insufficient power can cause a variety of issues.

If you're still having trouble, you might consider reaching out to the manufacturers of the boards you're using for support, or look for online communities of users who might have encountered similar issues.
