LVDS to HDMI

  • Hello,

I am trying to add an HDMI port to an embedded device with a 12" 1280x800 LCD panel. It uses a 20 pin LVDS connection. I can connect it to other screens and it works. However, I cannot get it to work with the LVDS to HDMI boards. I've tried v20 and LVDS2. I tried all combination of jumbers including LVDS2 in 6-bit mode.

Has anyone else gotten to work with a 6bit output? Any other suggestions?

  • I suggest connecting your LCD panel directly to a PC with an LVDS port to verify the panel functionality. This can help isolate if the issue lies with the panel itself or the connection to the LVDS to HDMI board.

  • @Wordle Unlimited If the current LVDS to HDMI boards (v20 and LVDS2) are not working, you can consider trying a different model or brand of LVDS to HDMI converter board.

  • Some boards can only work with certain LVDS signal configurations or resolutions so you should make sure that the LVDS to HDMI converter board you are using is compatible with the specific LVDS interface used by the board. The LCD your embedded device uses geometry dash online
