NASPi Gemini 2.5 X882 HDD LEDs are constantly blinking

  • Hey Guys,

I've recently set up a NASPi Gemini 2.5 with the X882 V2.0 Board. Everything is working very nice with 2 x 1 TB Samsung 860 EVO SSDs and the latest LTS RPi OS. Whole setup is running smooth in RAID0 with average speeds of ~220 MB/s.

Moved OS to the SSD and removed the SDcard.

    Question:
Both drive LEDs (HDD1 and HDD2) are constantly blinking simultaneously which is quite annoying. Why are they doing this and is there a solution to stop it?

    Thanks, Joschi!

  • After quite a while both LED stopped blinking. Must be around an hour or so. Everything is fine now.

  • @Joschi Ro @Joseph Lane

If there is data read/write the LED will blink, this depends on the line of the OS, it has nothing to do with the NASPi hardware itself, if there is no data read/write the LED will always be on.

    Thanks
