-
4-layer PCB design for improved thermal performance and overall system stability.
- Wide input voltage support (9–18V) for more flexible power supply options.
Overview
The Geekworm X1206 V2.0 is a UPS expansion board for Raspberry Pi 5 with four 21700 battery slots. It mounts beneath the Raspberry Pi and supplies power through pogo pins, leaving the 40-pin GPIO header available.
It provides up to 5.1V 6A total output, shared across the connected loads. It supports switching to battery power when the external supply fails, battery monitoring over I2C, and configurable power-management functions. Follow the Wiki setup instructions for software-controlled shutdown and low-battery shutdown.
Installed battery capacity depends on the selected cells. Backup runtime varies with battery capacity, system load, connected peripherals and operating conditions. Batteries are sold separately. The matching X1206-C1 metal case is also sold separately and supports both X1206 V1.1 and V2.0.
