Overview

The Geekworm X1209 UPS HAT provides the Raspberry Pi 5/41/3B+/3B with a stable 5.1V/6A backup power supply to keep your system running without interruption. Designed for high-performance projects, it supports intensive workloads and multiple peripherals.

Its smart power management system enables seamless power switching, auto power-on, and AC power loss detection, while automatically cutting power after shutdown to extend battery life. The X1209 also supports fast charging up to 2100mA, ensuring quick battery recovery and reliable operation.

With its robust design and intelligent control, the X1209 ensures continuous power, data protection, and enhanced system reliability for Raspberry Pi users.

Function of the Pogo Pin(only for Raspberry Pi 5)
The pogo pin must be installed to enable the same power button function as on the Raspberry Pi 5. Without the pogo pin, the X1209 power button can still be used to power on the system and force a shutdown by pressing it three times.

FAQ
Q1: What types of batteries are compatible with the X1209 UPS board?

A: The X1209 is compatible with 3.7V-rated batteries, such as 18650, 21700, 4680, and similar types, as long as they have a full charge voltage of 4.2V.

The default charging current is set to 2.1A and the charge cut-off voltage is 4.23V. Before connecting your battery to the UPS board, please carefully confirm the maximum charging current and voltage; exceeding the upper limit of the charging specification that the battery can withstand will not only cause adverse reactions, but may also cause irreversible damage.
