Power management is versatile and secure. The board features flexible 12V power inputs via dual standard DC jacks or a 4-pin ATX power connector. An integrated high-efficiency step-down converter delivers a stable 5V/12A output, while intelligent load switches automatically power off connected SATA devices upon system shutdown. Best of all, it powers your Raspberry Pi 5 directly via onboard pogo pins—eliminating the need for an external Type-C power supply for Pi 5.

The X1017 is designed for data storage purposes and does not currently support booting from HDD/SSD with the existing Raspberry Pi 5 firmware.

• Unified Power System: High-efficiency DC/DC converter delivers up to 12A, running both the Pi 5 and SATA drives from a single power source.
• Automatic Drive Power Cut-off: Smart load switches cut power to SATA devices when the Pi 5 shuts down (Note: Supported via DC Jacks only; not available via ATX 4-pin).
