Attach X872 to RPi4 via (X872) USB 3.0 to (RPi4) USB 2.0? Keyboard/Mouse Dongle

I'm editting this post to say I have solved the problem of USB 3.0 port interfering with wireless keyboard and mouse. This was done by using a 6 inch USB 2.0 extension cable to attach the keyboard/mouse dongle. This positions the dongle far enough from the USB 3.0 port to be clear of signal noise.
