NASPi auto power on?

    It says "DO NOT support auto power on function"

    I'd like to modify X-C1 such that it DOES support auto power on function. Can you share X-C1 schematic?

    Also if you can suggest possible modifications, that would be welcome as well!

    Hello，

    X-C1 hardware does not support AUTO ON ，and it will be added in the next version.  We have upgraded the hardware in the new version, like the picture.

    Hi,

    Geekworm will release XC-1 V1.5 shield which supports Auto Power On in early March 2022.

    Taking into account that some customers need the Auto Power On function, we will also sell the x-c1 v1.5 board separately at that time, only need to replace the old X-C1 v1.3 with X-C1 v1.5, no need to replace the NASPi case and X823 shield.

    If modifying the on‑board is too risky or not possible, one could build an external circuit that, at power input, briefly pulses the power button contacts (via a transistor or solid-state device) to simulate pressing the button. Controlled via the presence of the 5V supply endpoint. E.g., use a small capacitor charging through a resistor, triggering a MOSFET that shorts the switch for a moment when wall power comes. But that needs physical access to the switch contacts.
