If you find that you have encountered an IO error like the following picture, please contact us(info@geekworm.com) to update the firmware.
IMPORTANT!!! This software is strictly private, confidential and personal to its recipients and should not be copied,
distributed or reproduced in whole or in part, nor passed to any third party.
To update the X873 FW:
1) Connect the X873 to an USB port of windows 7/10 computer with a USB A male to male cable (without going through a hub, USB 2 or USB 3 are all ok.)
2) Double click the WinRAR self-extracting archive (X873-FW-update.exe) provided and click "Install"
3) The software will update the firmware automatically
4) If firmware is updated successfully. "PASS" will be appeared at the bottom right of the window.
