I have an RP5 (64-bit RP OS) with an X1003 NVME shield with a RP 512GB NVME installed. When I boot from the NVME, the mouse freezes a few seconds after bootup. Is the X1003 compatible with the RP5 official 512GB NVME?

The X1003 NVMe shield should be compatible with the RP5 and the official 512GB NVMe, but issues like power delivery, firmware, or thermal management could cause instability.

It’s best to check if the X1003 NVME shield is fully compatible with the RP5's 512GB NVME drive. Freezing issues might stem from driver conflicts, firmware mismatches, or hardware compatibility. Ensure both the shield and drive have the latest firmware updates. Try booting with a different NVME drive or connecting the drive to another system to isolate the issue. For further guidance, consult the manufacturer's support or community forums.
