Dear Valued Customers,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you of an ongoing situation affecting shipments to Canada due to a national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). Starting at 12:01 AM Eastern Time on November 15, 2024, the CUPW initiated a nationwide strike, which has led to the suspension of all mail and parcel operations by Canada Post, including the acceptance of new shipments.
What Does This Mean for You?
While we have taken proactive steps to address this situation by partnering with alternative logistics providers, the strike has caused significant disruptions across the logistics network. Other carriers are also facing challenges, including warehouse congestion, which has resulted in delays in customs clearance, final delivery processing, and delivery times.
Additionally, some postal codes and regions in Canada are temporarily restricted by service providers, preventing shipments from continuing to those areas. These unexpected complications may affect the delivery timeline for your orders.
Please Note
Due to the national strike being an event of force majeure, we are unable to guarantee any specific delivery timelines for shipments to Canada during this period. Furthermore, we regret to inform you that shipments affected by the strike will not be eligible for compensation.
This disruption affects all shipments entering the "Warehouse" status in the 4PX tracking system from November 4, 2024, onward, until further notice.
For more details on the ongoing strike, please refer to the official notice from Canada Post here:

Our Commitment
We are closely monitoring the situation and working diligently with our logistics partners to resume normal shipping services to Canada as soon as possible. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
Recommendation: Consider Using DHL for Faster Delivery
In light of the ongoing Canada Post strike and the resulting delays, we recommend that customers shipping to Canada consider using DHL Express for a faster and more reliable delivery option. While DHL may be slightly more expensive than Canada Post, it offers more predictable shipping timelines and avoids the disruptions caused by the strike.
Please note that due to the current circumstances, shipping fees with DHL may be higher, but it could be a worthwhile investment for those who need urgent deliveries. If you’d like to switch to DHL or have any questions about the service, please feel free to reach out to our customer support team for assistance.
Thank you for choosing Geekworm! We remain committed to providing you with the best service possible, and we will keep you updated on any further developments.
Sincerely,
Geekworm Team
